Hi everyone,

I jut joined this site about 3 days ago...and I guess I did something wrog because I got a message support telling me the spam filter has been activated???? and I cnt send emails at this time??? What did I do wrong and how long dos that stay on? Thanks

It sounds like you sent out a bunch of messages one right after the othere.

I dd send a few out yes..but I did not know I was not allowed to do that.

The following is copied from the "help" section:

Why am I temporarily blocked from sending messages by the spam filter?
Our spam filter monitors the onsite messages you send to other users and will be activated if it determines that you're sending out a large number of generic messages. To prevent the filter from activating we recommend that you take the time to read the profiles of the other users on the site and send a personalized message to those that interest you. This is also a great way to get good responses back.

Welcome to CM and the boards. Dunno how long it lasts, I'd suggest writing to support on the other side and ask them. I think it may be 2 weeks, but I could be wrong, don't quote me on that.
