to mama, who always made sure to get my ass out the door and do something
to mama, who taught me about the finer things in life so I could reach for em as an adult
to mama, who taught me to take care of myself so I wouldent have to be a helpless adult like other macho guys
to mama, who trained me how to first defend myself against those same wannabe macho guys
to mama, who knew where to protect me from certian bad things in life, but to have me experience the others so I know better.
to mama, who taught me the real difference between peace and conflict and to always strive for the former
to mama, who knew how to fill the roles of both mother and father
to mama, who I know worked her ass off for me to be the man I am today
and to mama, who even after all I owe her, will never ask her son for anything to repay her, and who will still stuff him full of pasta and chicken marsala whenever she gets the chance, even if she says I'm getting fat.
