What do u think sexer tan lines if u r red hair and light skin or no tan lines

LaTigresse -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 4:04:56 AM)

Neither. I think a healthy body, healthy skin, healthy mind.......is sexy. I do not find leathery skin and cancer sexy.

FelineFae -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 4:28:16 AM)

No tans on redheads. Nope. Bad idea.

Muttling -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 4:46:21 AM)

The redhead part doesn't matter to me.  I don't particularly care for dark tans in general.  I find a very light tan with no tan lines to be the sexiest in general.

Us blondies don't fair very well in the sun, either. I have always been scrupulous about using sun screen, and I still experienced a (minor) precancerous skin lesion a few years back.

A light tan in someone with an active outdoor life is normal. Working to achieve a dark tan is just plain unhealthy. Even if you don't get cancer, it will damage your skin beyond repair.

QFT .

my father is blonde, nearly white-blonde. He gave me his invisible eye-brows. But back to the point, he is just as bad in the sun as i.

Have you considered burn marks instead?

Seriously take care of your skin... light complected redheads are hot too

How does that super-power work?

FelineFae -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 6:50:09 AM)

Genetics.
i do HAVE eyebrows. But they are pretty much 'clear' so i have to wear make up so people can see them. Sometimes i don't care about it and just do my 'dots' because that's more fun than eyebrows.[:D]

Sunscreen is sexy.

sunshinemiss -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 7:59:49 AM)

I just interacted with a woman wanting to go get some skin whitening cream. She looks like she has a nice soft glowing kind of tan. I told her that white people spend huge amounts of time in the tanning booth / outside to get the skin she naturally has. She was appalled.

By the way, good grammar and correct spelling are sexy.

LadyConstanze -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 8:06:08 AM)

Courting skin cancer is so not sexy....

DesFIP -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 8:14:45 AM)

Redheads don't tan, they burn. Melanoma is not a good thing. Now if you're talking fake tans, and a good quality one, that's different. Then I say go for it. But everyone should use sunscreen.

coookie -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 8:25:00 AM)

Slip slap slop FTW!

Slip on a tshirt
Slap on a hat
Slop on some sunblock

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 8:36:22 AM)

I do have red hair, and used to envy those who could tan beautifully - until I saw a friend of mine (pale skin, red hair) sitting on the shoulders of her boyfriend (a latino guy with dark skin) and the contrast between them was gorgeous!

I think that as I went through different stages in my life, I found different things sexy. Now, I find a particular demeanor or way of handling one's self sexy. It doesn't matter to me if the person has tanlines or no tan or a great tan. How he/she carry his or her self, express their 'self' and how they share of their 'self' - is what I find sexy.

Hillwilliam -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 8:56:34 AM)

Redheads, freckles, playing "connect the dots".........

I beg to differ, coppery/auburnish hair - I tan faster than you can say sunshine, but I'm half Italian and inherited the Latin skin pigmentation. I still wear sunscreen, despite not burning, who needs skin that looks like a badly cured handbag?

FelineFae -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 9:20:14 AM)

<~~ Burns

flcouple2009 -> RE: tanning (5/26/2011 9:20:56 AM)

Off topic for a moment,

But damn that picture was just gorgeous.
