Well, the Vancoucer Canucks have made it into the Stanley Cup Finals. Tampa Bay has forced a seventh game against Boston. Who do you want to win? Will you be watching the final games?

I will watch what I can with work and everything, but Im pulling for Boston.

On a more expansive note, I would like to express my hatred of Gary Bettman, NHL Commissioner. Fucker has ruined the game by expanding into markets where they dont GET hockey. Hell, the Thrashers are already tucking tail and running from Atlanta, to Winnipeg. Its really not gonna work long-term in most markets where they dont get snow and ice regularly (Dallas being the one exception that comes to mind). This isnt the NBA, and the NHL isnt designed to be. He's also changed the history of the game, by getting rid of the Campbell and Wales conferences, and changing the names of the divisions. He doesnt understand the sport of hockey, or its traditon and history. He's an idiot.

Oh really? I dont have a tv so no idea what has been going on.
But if the canucks have made it to the finals, then I want them to win. Surprised they got this far tho, they must have improved quite a bit in the last few years. Either that or all the other teams have gotten much worse.

No TV?? No probs babe, drop over have a pint or two and enjoy the game. And after the boys leave, we can discuss some of that 3 hole normalcy you mentioned in another thread...

Bettman is the anti-christ.
Why is he not just the court-appointed dwarf accountant? *I* didn't vote for him.
Time for a revolution! Me for Commish! I'll stage a coup and move Phoenix back to Winnipeg, Colorado back to Quebec, and Columbus to Halifax. Then for an encore, the NYIslanders to St. John's, and the LA Kings to Saskatoon.

Fuck Bettman, and not in a good way! Canucks in 5! Woot!

And so it was!
The Bruins scored the only goal of the night in the 3rd.
They go for the cup for the first time since 1990.

That game damn near gave me a heart attack. So many scoring oppertunities. Awesome goaltending. Hell, awesome play all around. I think there were only like 4 or 5 times the refs called offsides, and no penalties at all.
