Not big in LaRouche asswipe, but that bill didnt go any further when she introduced it last congressional session than it will this one.  Gonna be dead in committee.

No, it is by its very nature not.  Read the article from the LaRouche PAC website, it is about them resolving to demand their congressman vote for H.R.1489.

I don't think Irvington, NJ has much to do with Federal legislation.

I grew up in a time when banks couldn't cross county lines, let alone do investments, unless you count a Christmas Club account.

Was it better? I don't really know, but I do know that although I really dislike my own bank, I do enjoy all the convienence they offer. I never even step into a lobby anymore, or have to speak to anyone involved with the organization.
I do like not having to deal with them aside from the keyboard of a computer or at an ATM.
