Not enough people wear hats these days but perhaps that's a plus for the ones that do. An otherwise unremarkable man will stand out if he wears a hat, that's the first law of hats.

The first thing I notice about another woman is her hands, followed by her eyes and then her boobs. Maybe my fascination with hands is really why I hate winter.
