So as a dominant shouldn't you be taking care of your submissive rather than the other way around?

As long as it is agreed that slaves built the pyramids There will always be a bit of wiggle room on that one

LOL, yes, a guy just has to declare that he is submissive and there we go, gets his kink a la carte and a free ride in life... I guess it could happen, if somebody would eliminate all the thousands of good looking, less demanding, less tight arsed subbies and dommes would have to fight for the dregs...

Oh, it is different alright! You see, the other Fetishes don't drive you to Poverty if you do them with the right person. DUH! [:)]
Besides it can get addictive just like GAMBLING and you lose it all. Even your Self-Respect.

Do you have studies that state a man is driven to poverty by financial domination? Statistics of any kind?

I was financially dominated in a previous relationship. Every dime I made went to him for him to decide how to spend it. It takes major trust.

When I left, he took me to the bank, withdrew money, and handed it over to me. It wasnt a fortune as he paid all the bills out of the household account... but I had no doubt I paid half and he gave me back the rest.

It sorta works like that in many relationships.

Perhaps you should look into the difference between that type of financial domination and the fairy tale one you are describing.

Besides Aliens built the pyramids, did no one watch SG1?

I dont believe financial domination is wide spread. I do believe there are many who fake it simply as a means to get money. I do believe those who are "into it" do so with their minds on the kink and not the dollar signs.

There is the difference right there, I don't believe it is a kink.  I believe it is a lot guys getting exploited by greedy bitches.

And if you don't think it is widespread try popping onto the red profiles.

It will open your eyes.

"greedy bitches"? How many men do you think practice this as well?

Sorry, I have no idea what a red profile is.

Forgot all about that, bummer, I don't watch much TV [;)]

The funny thing is that if a guy claims he's a subbie and is a financial burden on the domme, that's alright, she should take care of him... I don't mind taking care of my pets, I like to think that my partner and I take care of each other, but taking care of a bloke because he's sexually submissive? HUH? Why? So I have to do more work and he less - how dominant would that be? I think a lot of guys don't want dommes, they want sugar mommies....

tazzygirl -> RE: Financial Domination WTF?!?! (5/28/2011 9:20:29 AM)

Its called... paying him to sub to you, LC, which is perfectly ok, according to some. But god help you if you "demand" your sub to pay his own way or help in the bill department.

If you are paying a man to sub to you, how is THAT any different than prostitution?

Well, because then they'd even get paid for doing something they enjoy - just like pro dommes do, the only difference is that when they're the prostitutes, it's alright because by the power of the mighty dick (even if it's not so mighty in most cases) if a guy wants something, he should have it, immediately and for free, ffs, especially if he declares himself a submissive, it's his right to demand immediate service (and possibly payment).

tazzygirl -> RE: Financial Domination WTF?!?! (5/28/2011 9:48:13 AM)

Hmmm... advocating topping from the bottom.

How come we gals cant get that kind of treatment?

LadyConstanze -> RE: Financial Domination WTF?!?! (5/28/2011 9:54:55 AM)

Nah, just making fun of the guys who think what's alright for the ganter can't be acceptable for the goose [;)]

Strangely,  just the other day I was reading the profile of a guy who was into a financial domination thing with his Domme.  He was loving it!!!  He talked about how he just loved to spoil her and buy things for her!!  I may not understand the kink.  You may not understand the kink.  However, it's his kink.  Let him enjoy what makes him happy.

tazzygirl -> RE: Financial Domination WTF?!?! (5/28/2011 11:55:23 AM)

I love to spoil the man in my life.... something I have always done. But, one guy I spoiled started expecting it, then demanding it. It no longer became something I enjoyed and started becoming a chore. Ended that relationship.

Ideally people in all relationships take care of each other.

Oh, but that is different because men are supposed to control the money in a relationship[8|]

I'm willing to bet that about 80% of those "hot young fin dommes" demanding tribute for an IM chat are guys who nicked the pictures from porn sites...

If you are paying a man to sub to you, how is THAT any different than prostitution?

Are you suggesting that there isn't anyone on the site that would be a prostitute if it was legal in their state?

Just saying.

Other end of this, is if the sub and dom are living together. Shared expenses are more than reasonable. Tipping the scale in favor of the dominant was bound to happen at some point.

Personally, I'm cheap and content with the lower end of things. I am dominant, but financial domination (aka financial dependence) would really bug me. That said, I'm not opposed to free food or lodging if offered.

tazzygirl -> RE: Financial Domination WTF?!?! (5/28/2011 12:58:40 PM)

Im guessing you mean that sub male profiles are in red? Hmmm.. didnt I already post that I noticed a few who stated on their profiles they wanted to be financially dominated?

True, I had to take out the Dominant part of the search feature. No offence, fellas, but make subs just dont do "it" for me.

My post was a take off from someone else's and meant to be a bit snarky. [;)]
