Sexual abuse case settled out of court

ATLANTA – Lawsuits brought by four young men who accused a Georgia megachurch pastor of sexual misconduct have been resolved, attorneys for both sides said Thursday, bringing a quiet end to a blockbuster legal complaint that targeted a powerful national religious leader.

Both sides declined to discuss terms of the deal, other than to say the civil suits in state court would not go forward against Bishop Eddie Long, pastor of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.

This makes me want to vomit.......Some cases should not be able to be "settled".

The Bishop, has hidden his actions long enough to out last the law, and now paid off the accusers. All the while, cruising the Atl in his Bentley.
Amazingly the "true belivers" of the gospel according to Eddie, turn a blind eye to his behavior while he counts the collection plates.

I guess in the name of God, you can do a lot, especially if you have the money to hide it.

I love family values.
