Just bought some new ass jewlery, its basicall a butt plug with a jewl on the end of it for a pelasurable look.

Not to big not even 2"long and about 1"thick all stainless steel or crome, (shiney metal)

Is it safe to wear it long term?  5-6 hours going about my daily day with it in?

Thanks in advance

Shouldn't be a problem, but if it is chrome, you should be aware that it can peel in sharp edged segments.  It takes a lot to get the chrome to separate from the underlying nickle plating, but it wouldn't be a bad idea that while lubing it before each wearing, make sure you feel for sharp edges or rough place.  They are the precursors for this kind of separation.

Is it one of these?

If so, they're made of 303 stainless steel and you should be able to wear them for several hours with no problems and no worries of flaking or chipping.  Julian Snelling really makes some interesting things.

toosmooth...depends on what you are not wearing with it?
chrome clashes with steel, platiunum, diamonds and Polyester.....
That said, if you adorn it in a public setting, despite the hours you are there, just make sure you are in concert with the appropriate attire...no one likes to be embarr assed for wearing something that doesn't match.

Try holding it near a magnet.  Most stainless steel items with which I'm familiar are not attracted by a magnet

Was it the item in the link I posted above?

That depends what series stainless it is.  Most machined 'toys' are 300 series which is nominally non-magnetic.  There are some 400 series items out there which are magnetic, but they are less common.  The only way to know for sure is to ask the manufacturer  :/

K ill bring it out to the garage tomorrow and hold it to a magnet.

Why does it matter if it 300 series or 400 series?

The metal is in perfect shape, very smooth and no flaking, so I dont see a problem with use, juts wondering if I can leave in in for 5 or 6 hours, walk around and go about my daily dudads around the house?
I will also try to figure what its made of tomorrow

Thanks everyone

since extreme restraints does state that it is stainless steel you are most likely just fine.
