Fifty-six days after the official Supreme Court election came to a close, Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg conceded the seat to incumbent Justice David Prosser Tuesday. During a press conference Tuesday, Kloppenburg said she called Prosser earlier in the day to inform him she would not pursue legal action on the recount results and to give her congratulations on his victory. “It would serve no purpose to bring a suit with insufficient legal basis,” Kloppenburg said during the conference. “That is not the kind of lawyer I am.” According to the Government Accountability Board, Prosser was certified as the winning candidate last week by a margin of 7,004 votes.

Go Scott Go! Good on the state of Wisconsin to get the recount right, it's a shame there ever had to be a recount, but you know how those Democrats like to tamper[;)]

Well, given the utter lawlessness of the republican goons and thugs out that way, somebody has to watch em.

Good to see the SEIU national piss away 10s if not 100s of thousands on the campaign to get her elected.

Nevermind what it cost the state. But with all their other lawlessness troubles out there, which they are paying thru the nose, how are the draconian cuts going?  Have they laid off any firefighters and police?

You caught me, the Waukesha County Clerk, who definitely was the one who caused a recount to be necessary, is not a Democrat.

And another lie...the CC didnt cause the recount to be necessary. You also skipped your other lie in the first response...that there was tampering. If you were on any more of a roll you'd be spicy tuna.
