The funny part is that they are the backbone of the economy, and necessary, when in fact all they do is hurt the legal unemployed.
The headline is the kind of deceptive interpretation that Dems are so fond of, Im afraid. Her point (although a broad and inaccurate generalization) was the ineffectiveness of a policy that they should be "shipped back". The "should be a crime" came out wrong, agreed, but that wasnt her focus, and probably meant they think it should be a felony.

Dont get me wrong, Wasserman is a brain dead liberal, but her policies are far worse than this little slip.

Can someone explain that to me?   If it is illegal then it is already illegal.  Not legal.   illegal means not lawfull.    So illegal is not legal.    meaning it is illegal.

They estimate between 7 and 20 million people. 12 Million to me is a best guestimate.

Now, pahunk, imagine emptying out the state of PA... its roughly that in population size. That doesnt include families who they may have married here, or children that were born here.... whats the total now? 17 million? The size of the population of Texas.

Doesnt seem like alot compared to 312,913,872, the total population. But thats 5.5%.

One of the reasons that we have a large number of illegals from south of the border is that it's become much more expensive and dangerous to cross.  Instead of traveling back south periodically, folks are staying here.

Why no longer matters. How do we pick and choose who stays and who goes? Do they go unless they have family here? Does that family have to be minor children?

I cannot advocate ripping families apart because our government was too lax about doing its job.
