I thought a place to vent AND SCREAMM on those little annoyances might be fun.

I want to tell a certain single mother to quit whining that she is a single mom. There are single moms out there who's husbands have died protecting our country, passed away by other means,, or seemed to be of quality and turned out to be otherwise. Those single moms should be outraged at you and your demeaning them because you chose to sleep with and get knocked up by obvious losers. IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM! YOU MADE THE CHOICE!

The weather is clear and dry. The road is flat and smooth. Why are you doing 35 in a 50 mph zone, next to a guy going the same speed as you. DON'T YOU KNOW THE MEANING OF A PASSING LANE AND SLOW TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT!

WHY ARE YOU SURPRISED THERE ARE WEIRDOS, FAKES AND JERKS IN AN INTERNET SITE LIKE COLLARME!

I HAVE TO STAY DRUG FREE TO WORK! YOU SHOULD HAVE TO STAY DRUG FREE TO GET MY MONEY! WHY IS THERE AN EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY WHEN YOU ARE RECEIVING PUBLIC FUNDS?

Hey there, noob. This site has been here for awhile now, and a lot of us with it. A lot of otherwise pointless griping, whining and complaining goes on here; your topics have been done before, ad nauseum, which you might have seen for yourself if you'd bothered to look. Your little personal annoyances and ranting about a subset of the population that you know absolutely nothing about might have been better placed in your own journal. Just sayin'.

Whines, rants, complaints are a dime a gross at the very least.  You're not the first to do so, you won't be the last.  It's called the search feature, top right hand corner.  Comes in handy at times.

I was referring to the "newbie" under his username, D.. and before we go pointing out that this person appears to have been on this site longer than I have, my current profile is the latest of three that I have had over my own several years of active participation here - the others have long since been deleted. Also, one might have otherwise hoped that if the OP has indeed been here since 2008, he might have figured out how the boards worked by that time, and perhaps thought less of his original notion, that this "gripes and whines" thread might be something "fun" that others would want to hear about..

Personally, I don't see what the big deal is about having a venting thread. A person needs to let off a bit of steam now and again. If a person doesn't want to "hear" another member bitch and moan, it's simple: just don't read the darn thing! And if one if us is having a crappy day and feels a good whine is in order, so be it. They can get it off their chest here. :)

Yes, but venting and whining about.. welfare mothers?! [8|] ..and at any rate, we already have threads for venting and whining. Pick any one from the Politics and Religion section, or (far) better yet, how about the I Admit thread, which is abound with good and caring people who actually give a damn.. within reason.

Well just speaking as a Single Dad  who got thrust into the role after 11 years of marriage over something that wasn't present at the beginning, let me just say Thank you Mitt, for your analysis. Good luck in your run for president.
Personally, if I had the choice between a single mom and you in female, single mom wins every time. Whining or not.

I didn't get the impression the OP was bashing all welfare mothers but a particular one. Perhaps one he's acquainted with who he views as "using the system".
