I told the Mister I think he'd look hot in a goatee.  He laughed a little and said he had one once, a long time ago.  I'd love to see him in one but I don't think he's interested in having one again.

I have a full beard (neatly trimmed) and stache.

My upper lip hasn't seen daylight since '79 and My beard is a result of the only new years resolution (1982) I ever kept which was "never again cut My chin shaving".

Would I shave it for someone?

NO

A five o'clock shadow feels amazing when receiving .... a little... you know.  Just the right mixture of pleasure and pain.

...or so I've heard.

Fuck shaving!

I hate it!

It's five minutes in the morning better spent sleeping!

I've hated shaving ever since that first shave... what a letdown. I'm sure that I don't have to tell most of ya that the first shave is a very big deal for a young man... a right of passage. There I was, all of thirteen years old and standing in front of the bathroom mirror with the razor in one hand and the can of shaving cream in the other. "Today... I... am... a... MAN!"

Five minutes later I'm still dripping blood all over the sink, my face stinging like hell from the aftershave, thinking to myself, FUCK THIS SHIT! If nature wants to put hair on my face then so be it!

I never would have shaved again if I could've gotten away with it but the school I went to wouldn't allow it as part of their dress code. I still shaved as little as I could, sporting a pair of rather long sideburns... fortunately for me it was the early 80's, so I could get away with it. Save for a couple of (miserable) years at one job, I have not shaved since graduation. You will find no cans of shaving cream or razors in my bathroom. Once a month I go to Supercuts and have them hack it back and that is the extent of my facial hair grooming.

I guess it all boils down to this: love me, love my furry face.

No way! I'm very independent when it comes to my personal aesthetic!

Last winter I decided to grow a great big beard and it looked pretty awesome. I shaved it off because I'm capricious but I may grow a beard again someday, who knows? Life is an adventure!

I red a profile the other day & it says (NO Facial Hair).

If anyone seeking a man that should not be a problem, dont get me wrong I do shave but I will not do it every single day,
or from what i heared ( twice a day).....
I dont shave my moustache ever.... but its on 1/2 mm long its close to shaving... & i hate my self when its got longer than 3 days,

what about you? including the female part here on CM
for the men here would you shave just for she asked you to?

That is a pic of FukinTroll, taken, I believe I was told, one day cleaning up in the woods.

But it is a hot one.....kind looks like he is thinking sad thoughts or something. Kind of a Clint Eastwood thoughtful wistful look.

My grandmother hated beards.  I visited her in March and November every year.  So I got into the habit of shaving the beard in March, just before I saw her, and keeping it clean shaven until after I saw her in November. She passed but I still keep that tradition as a hirsute way of honoring her.

SilverMark -> RE: Facial Hair??? (6/4/2011 4:42:53 AM)

When I was MUCH younger I had hthe whole 70's mustache thing, I had simply never shaved above my lip. Now I look at those old pictures and all I can think of how cheesey the damn thing was. Each summer when I return to my cabin in Indiana to go fisning, I simply don't shave. if I keep the beard for more than a week once I return home, I look like a slim Santa Claus,
all white beard, and I can't stand it!

Personally, I adore silver hair, but if it bothers you try Just For Men, they make it for facial hair.

Ya know, after thinking about this thread, I realized I have never even went on a date with a guy without facial hair.
