Hi As I have read more and more about domination... i've noticed that some dommes love cbt, and some subs actually enjoy receiving it...? I suppose I can understand why dommes enjoy it, but why do sub men enjoy it? Surely it is very painful to be hit on the balls? I don't get it either, it's a limit for me :/ I find that being hit there isn't even about pain. It creates a feeling of sickness :X I've never seen how that can be enjoyable regarding masochism, I think there are some places on the body - buttocks, upper back, most muscles, which are fine to hit, cause a bit of pain, etc. There are other places where being hit is more than just pain and starts to go into the realm of injury and danger. I doubt any responsible dominant would punch their sub in the kidneys. I classify this pretty much the same way.

CBT appeals to different people for different reasons, natch. Some people play in highly ritualized and ornate scenarios, and I can see the appeal to those scenes although I have to be in the right frame of mind to enjoy them myself! But from my own peculiar point of view, being kneed/punched in the nuts out of the blue is something that a) on one level I hate (because I'm being punched in the nuts! that's why!) but b) really fuckin' turns me on. Why? Because I'm a straight male masochist who is almost always at least several inches taller and appreciably physically stronger than my partner, but I really love the feeling of being overwhelmed and overpowered. It's been my impression from the guys I've played with that serious whipping or spanking often hurts more than light CBT. (I'm guessing from your profile that you've never done either.) Bear in mind that being punched in the balls would be a rather extreme and risky form of CBT, while for most people something gentle would be more appropriate. For a sexual masochist, CBT makes a certain kind of sense - you get your sexual stimulation and your pain at the same time. Also, some men seem to think of their genitals as the seat of their power, and enjoy having that power used against them. Other people hate it. Some of those love hating it so much that they seek it out.

Oh what the hell it, I'm going indulge in making a post on this thread. Personally, I hate being hit in the balls cause it hurts like hell.
