Yeah. Solo breathplay is just like sounding.

...a small chance of getting an easily treated uti. What the fuck. A man doing sounding has less uti risk then women do just by being female.

It hurts a lot. Best course of action is to pee immediately after which hurts much worse.

No, it was the comment to the idiotic claim you made

Qtip sounding ain't that dangerous. Done it. Had it done to me.

I guess you didn't quite grasp it because if you also think that a UTI is always easily treated and not a big deal. I hope you're going to have a lot of fun when a piece of cotton comes off and causes you quite a nasty infection, sounds and Q-tips are different things but you go on playing and if you get the infection, don't take it seriously because those of us trying to play without courting idiotic risks obviously know nothing...

Because nothing has happened to you YET, it's not something you should recommend to others, but hey, I doubt you get it, but whatever...

You're making up something I've never said.

And you don't know what you're talking about.

You inserted the because. All you. Not me.

If the OP's dom really wants to do sound play, he needs to pony up and buy a real sound and figure out how to steralize it at home.

I work in a urology surgery area and the number of men coming in to have things surgically repaired from using objects to "play" that aren't intended for that use is amazing. With the avaiability of the internet and ebay, everyone has access to sex toys that are intended for specific purposes. There is no reason to improvise - with the risks inherent in that.

I'm not talking huge numbers - but how stupid are you to use a wedding ring as a cock ring , for heavens sake! And that was one of the mild ones.

He wants to sound me with a qtip. Through my own research (google) and the health forum it has become clear that it’s not really a safe thing to do and could lead to a UTI. He knows one of my hard limits is nothing that could get me sick. I worry that when I say no to this he will lose interest in me as a sub/slave/pup. It’s very disappointing but I am not willing to risk it.

I agree with the others who say discuss this with him and to use proper equipment.

Regarding saying "No," isn't it inevitable in the beginning when people are getting to know each other? Is the perfect D/s or M/s match the exception or the rule? If any of you are in perfect matches, is this your first match?

Every time I've said "No" it's worked out for the best. If he loses interest, you are better off without him and knowing this now.

Sorry to sidetrack, but *snort*; was he at least using it for interaction with his wife?  OMG, if this was considered a good idea by anyone i hope they got a Darwin Award.  I don't even like using the solid steel rings actually made to be used as cock rings, something a quarter of the size or less is not even getting in the neighborhood.

Bunch of times.

...and can healed piercings hold appreciably more weight? I've hung from fresh holes, that's how it's usually done ...

Actually your not supposed to put weight on them at all, because weight creates small tears, which requires healing which can promote migration....

Meaning Dont do it its not a smart idea... and Any man who would try to interfere with a healing piercing on my body... would get himself in a WHOLE hell of a lot of pain...first limit of mine is you cause me harm i cause you harm... and causing me an infection is causing me harm.

SimplyMichael -> RE: When you say "No." (6/8/2011 11:24:21 AM)

As Leadership527 said, context is everything.

Conceptually, I would have no problem doing this but I wouldn't even bring it up with my partner because she has a bad history with UTIs. Other women you can go straight from their ass to their cunts no problem and sounding with a sterile QTip, especially one with a bit of neosporin would be boringly safe.

Context and knowing your partner is everything.
