I love Sunday mornings. I make them all about me, kind of a come to my bliss in one way or tuther thing.

This morning I went outside and walked barefoot in my new lawn, while partaking of some religious feeling inducing herbal therapy. Had some old R&B classics playing, and just enjoyed the feel of the hot grass under my bare feet.

Now, the fact that the "new lawn" is about 5 6-foot rolls of sod that I have put down, picking up scraps from a friend in the landscaping vbusiness, that doesn't make it strange I hope. Thank goodness my neighbor joined me in the religious experience, so my pacing back and forth on the few feew of new lawn didn'even phase him.

How is your Sunday morning coming down so far?

Status: offline 		this day is about being domestic, for me.. I have to work tonight, but this morning I went grocery shopping, some laundry, and some more unpacking.  Scattered among those chores I spent time being a kitteh slave (they demanded play time).

have I mentioned I love my new job?  a REGULAR schedule??

I am off work til August 1st, so I can be domestic any day I want to now-lol. I try to do a little bit every day in the summer, but I admit to getting caught up in the well hell there is always tomorrow thing-lol. One mroe reason I love my job.

If you come to see your mom, I would love to meet you btw.

Status: offline 		Mom is outta town until the end of the month, but if I can swing 2 days off in a row I'll head up there when she gets back (while praying that my POS car will make the trip..LOL)

Status: offline 		Sunday has always been the focus of personal & domestic grooming at my house. 
laundry, car wash, pool chemicals, water potted plants, cut the grass, hair cut and/or dye, manicure . . . slip off to the matinee if I get done early enough.

Status: offline 		Sundays are always about one of two things for me

Either it's a day where I clean up the house for the coming week so I don't have to be concerned with it the rest of the week, spending it around the house, making sure things are in order, being domestic

or

waking up early to light breakfast with coffee on the deck or patio before heading off to church and then the farmer's market afterwards to take in the sights and sounds and all the wonderful aromas wafting in the air, spending the day in a spiritual and natural state of mind, maybe walking around the park or visiting a friend, then coming home to relax with a nice dinner from what I bought at the market and then just chilling out with a good movie in the evening.

Today is a domestic day. My daughter is supposed to be coming home for a couple days so I'll be cleaning up and waiting for her to arrive. I haven't seen her in a few months so it will be nice...that is if she even bothers to stop in tonight instead of heading straight to her friend's house to hang out. Ahh...the joys of being a mom to an adult child.

I have had the flu for several days. It seemed to all run into my chest last night. I woke up afraid I might be getting a secondary infection... so far I have been trying to break up the chest congestion so I can get on with my life. I have been ill since Tuesday!

I have been up for a couple of hours, and my chest decongesting... yay! Now I have to go to the store and do my backed up laundry. I think I am going to see if my mom wants to go out to breakfast... I have no food here and I am starving!

Status: offline 		It rained this morning so I was lazy, then drove into town to get some groceries because I was out of fresh fruit and veggies. Now I am being lazy again, waiting for things to dry up a bit so I can go out and dig on the patio project.

Status: offline 		Around here Sundays are usually about sensual indulgence. We wake up late and lay around in bed most of the day. We don't bother getting dressed most of the time. Eat whatever whenever we feel hungry (we had salad for breakfast today and scrambled eggs and left over ham for lunch). Hanners usually has some wine. Later in the day, Hanners usually does a lot of cooking, preparing meals we can put in the freezer, so I can just heat it up and have dinner ready for her when she gets home from work during the week.

Today its a nice sunny day, so we are out back for some sunbathing and swimming in the river. Hooray for wifi!
