The various threads on Palin and people supporting and demeaning her are a bit thought provoking.

So, I'll just ask one question.

Is she intelligent enough to be POTUS?

Just YES or NO

No discussion

No name calling.

No links

No quotes

One word posts

YES or NO

Yes, but a yes answer isnt the same as support.

Oh just admit it, you want, hot, mad, passionate, S&M, D/s sex with her. Be her secret Master who makes her do all sorts of normal shit (as opposed to doing weird shit....cus she's weird already!).

An 'No' I dont think, Mr. OP, that Palin is intelligent. She's at, near, or just below 'George W. Bush' stupid. A better question, Mr. OP, is if the end result of this mini-poll shows a high number of respondents do not think she's smart, would they take her serious in elected office.

An interesting question.

Based on the current situation, absent major changes in the political, economic or military environment ... yes, she can get elected. If not this next election, then the one after.

One could substitute Obama for Bush in your post and change Palin to at or above and it would be closer to reality. Oh and substitute your no for a yes of course.

I'm a yes........big surprise, right ?

William, I am almost ALWAYS civilized in my political discourse.

Doesn't mean I don't make some people mad, or hurt their feelings, but at least it's either unintentional, or done in a civilized manner.

It feels better that way.

No.But with her fans, that`s a plus. She`s so strident an anti-elitist,she`s practically saying she`s better than elitists.Which is kind of elitist.

Folks rejected her b/c of what came out of her mouth, not over what anyone else said.

It`s my greatest hope, that she wins the GOP nomination. She might even use losing before, as job experience.

It isn't a strange question. Is she intelligent enough to be President of the US? The job (like all jobs) requires a certain amount of intelligence. In your opinion, does she have that qualification?

Actually Ive never found her the least bit attractive. The photoshop/lookalike posted does have its redeeming qualities though!

Palin is intelligent. No one should ever underestimate her. She is smart enough to have a powerful network supporting her, adoring fans rushing to a proposed stomping ground and wait for hours in the heat just to see her.

Is she intelligent enough to be President? I get the feeling, yes, if she wants to be.

The question should have been...

Should Palin be President.

The most dangerous people to give power to are those who remain willfully ignorant. She is intellectually incurious at the very least. She does not know her own limitations. She actually believes herself to be prepared to be president when she was selected as a running mate, she WASN'T.

She lacks many things a president should have going for them, and intellect is not the least of her shortcomings, because she might have some unrealized potential (based upon her street smarts it is fair to say she does) but she is petty, she holds a grudge. She is thin skinned and she is ill tempered... and she is too stupid to understand that she is all of these things.
