outhere69 -> For those with boys...or men! (6/5/2011 3:58:35 PM)

I found this blog post on the skills required for boys or men to target the toilet appropriately...and laughed myself silly.  Part of it follows:

"I am pretty certain he begins to pee and his mind spaces out into lala land. Then the hose has a mind of its own without him even realizing its mystical mind-melding power. It's as though the alien-pee-monsters come and temporarily abduct his mind from his body as soon as he feels the tinkles coming on."

Anyone else have these experiences?

Oh yeah...been there, done that!  My son took it one step further.....since he'd get yelled at for leaving the seat up, he just stopped raising it.....granted, with the seat down, the hole is a tad smaller, but it's still a foot long and almost as wide......I mean, c'mon!!!!!!  So, instead of falling in, I was sitting in his drips.  Suddenly, falling in didn't look so bad.

I will give him credit, over the years, his aim has gotten better, and he wipes the seat if he misses.  That habit came from him having to scrub the toilet and the floor around it for a couple of weeks.  Everytime I see the episode of Two and a half men, It brings back SUCH memories!  I wouldn't be surprised if that had been written by a mother!  [:)]

Try cleaning the bathrooms in a print-shop where the guys apparently don't want to hold the hose because they have ink on their hands. I'm still wondering how they managed to hit the ceiling without showering themselves....

"Amazing" wasn't quite the word I used for it.... (the ewwwwwwwww is much closer!)

Honestly - after 4 years of that, anything the boys managed at home was nothing!

he was always saying how his sister in law said with three boys in the house the bathroom always smelled like pee , an I didn't believe her, till I went over for a sleep over, and yes, the place smelled like pee, even though none of the boys were pissing on anything but toilet water an flushing.

Ok, let me tell you about little boys, since I raised a couple of them, and they had friends. They're not just peeing in the toilet and flushing, even if that's what they say. If they have accidents, they hide it. They pee in unusual containers and hide those, too. They might have a spontaneous peeing contest across the bathroom onto a towel, and they hide the evidence in a hamper. Sometimes they pee outside windows and the smell drifts in.

Trust me, those little faces may be adorable, but they're pissers!!! [:)]

Don't forget "sword" fights! Me and my friends would play swords with our pee streams if we both needed to go at the same time... well... until Star Wars came out... then they became "light sabre" fights.

I felt sorry for the girls, having to miss out on that kind of fun. [:D]

Yep. Which are why mine are trained to go sitting down, like civil folk. Plus..............they have to clean the bathroom! Best cure I ever found.
