Status: offline 		This is a tripped up post or topic to get into. Because yeah, I enjoy and loving playing with floggers and I'm one of those Big Bad Dominants that loves hurting Girls/Women/Ladies at times.

There have been times over the years where I was extremely sexually attracted to somebody, yet felt more desire or rather inspiration to Flog a Cat Scratching Post compared to them. It's really amazing to both have the sexual and the sadistic desires for somebody at the same time. However, there are moments when I feel one without the other in the equation. Times when I don't even have any sexual desire for them, yet my mind is working them over with a flogger or something.

None the less, I can't deny this strange effect that happens to me from time to time. Where I'm simply more inspired to flog a cat Scrating Post or something compared to flogging their naked body. I hope this makes sense to somebody out there in BDSM land, because frankly this does not make sense to me. I add it up to S&M attraction vs. Sexual Attraction.

Status: offline 		I don't think it's anything bizarre. Since we're supposed to be humans with complex brains, I'd be more concerned if you did feel the same thing every time. I mean, I love Coke or Pepsi, but I don't want Coke or Pepsi every time I'm thirsty. Sometimes root beer sounds delicious. Or sometimes I just want 7-up. And many times I want iced tea. Sometimes I want that with sugar, sometimes without. Sometimes I even get all crazy and throw in a lemon.

Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

Well it's rather difficult for me to tell somebody that yes I will be or no I won't be sadistic with you, when I've not met them in person. This is what strikes and bothers me a little at times when engaging in email or IM exchanges. I really don't have any solid explaination. If I'm attracted towards them in the right ways, those things are very much there.

So what am I? Maybe I'm a sadist? Hell, I've left some real nice beautiful marks on girls and enjoyed every moment of hurting them. Even indulge in light weight blood letting using lancets and tasting blood (more of an intimate thing for me to do). Still none the less, there's been women I've been sexually attracted to, yet felt zero desire to hurt. I was more inspired to flog the cat scratching post or something else. I really don't want to misrepresent myself either.

Some girls sort of scare me a little, because I can see myself transforming into a even bigger Sadist. Mind you, that might be an adventure all in itself. Status: offline 		I don't get why you are so puzzled by the differing motivations. Read what windchymes said. Desires and feelings have many layers, and it isn't so unusual for them to differ from person to person, for you. It just... doesn't seem that strange to me.

Other times, I might not think much of someone, but I still get that urge to let them beat me and show them my submissive side. Status: offline 		Just chalk it up to chemistry or the lack thereof. I like having sex with men, but that surely doesn't translate to every man out there. If there isn't chemistry, I wouldn't be interested. And even when there is, I'm still going to need a lot more than just that.

It may be easier to think about sexual chemistry because there are probably some consistencies in people you are attracted to: the stuff all those threads go on about. Age, height, weight, eye color, skin color, long or short nails, and so on. At first glance, there probably isn't anything you can say is the same about s & m chemistry, but if you're really curious, think about the different women in detail. Did they all have the same attitude, or sense of humor? Because I'm betting it isn't quite as random as it appears. And if it is, just be grateful that it keeps happening.

At times I have felt sexual desire for someone without feeling the want or the need for the s&m to play a role, which is extremely strange for me. At the same time I have felt the opposite with others, where all I really wanted was some play time without the sex. I'm not sure why it happens, but I wouldn't be alarmed by it or anything.
