The printed story is doesn't really match the video story, I didn't think. When I read the story, it sounded like another stoopid truckdriver had tried to make a turn & got stuck. The video made it seem as though they removed the obstacles before the truck actually got stuck so that it wouldn't. Seems to me, though, that the route should have been planned better so that the obstacles were gone in advance.

But that is so cool that the plane is being trucked through the East Coast so that people can see it.

I don't mean to rain on the parade here, but why the hell are they transporting a piece of scrap that big down that road at enormous cost ? Is it going to be another shrine of sorts ? Are they kidding ?

The thing has been sitting, probably without maintainence, has shitty engines or whatever prone to compressor stalls and has been skipped across the water. It's a piece of junk. Cut it up and melt it down. Either make it into something useful or sell it to the Chinese. Why did they bother doing this buillshit ?
