Isn't that the norm for federal employees. All them TSA employees are government workers, right? 6 Billion a year worth of government workers.

There is a lot we do not know. If he used his job at tsa to facilitate this then I would imagine that might have some impact on the subject. If not and his pension was vested why would he loose his pension? If you are talking about his military pension he worked for it it is his.
He is 57 and has 20 years in the military which would put him out at about 37 or 38 and if he did 19 or 20 with tsa he could be close to retiring there so if he did not use tsa to facilitate this and he were to retire before he went to trial he would be just like mark furman.
