Status: offline 		Did the article indicate if the sloop is docked in Italy, or if the owner has refused to use US business or workers to keep the boat afloat.

A boat like that is a money sink. The owner probably has to absolutely bust ass to make certain there is ZERO money for the American worker.

Which may or may not be a valid comparison. GE's tax situation is most likely far more complex than yours, with carry over losses and/or (Democrat passed) accelerated depreciation resulting in their deductions/credits. So their "0 taxes" was a result of "overpayments" in prior years, or just represents deferrals to future years. Im no Immelt or GE fan, but all the garbage spewed about companies that pay no taxes is far beyond the bloggers' understanding, its just a sound bite for them. If a company is getting subsidies that others don't get, thats when there are actual inequities. And the companies that get subsidies change based on the flavor of the day in DC, and ALL of them should be eliminated.
