This site was suggested to me by someone who responded to my craigslist post.
This was my post

quote:

He wants me to call him by a name other than Steve, how do I choose a name for him? Do I call him something like slut bunny or should I actually give him a new name, a slave name?

FYI I am not in a relationship with this person. He friended me on-line because we have similar interests and recently asked me to be the key carrier of his chastity belt.

I've never done anything like this before, but was most intrigued by the request and thought I'd go for it.

I posted this about a week ago, I have yet to give him a name, but I have gotten to know him a little better. I like him, we share similar interests and he doesn’t bore me…
As for me, I’m un-submissive, but I’m not exactly a domme. Maybe I am and I just don’t know it yet.

Hiya, Elsa!

What name do you want to give him?  I always kinda liked the name Rupert, myself.  But if you want to feminize him, maybe Jenny.  If you want to humiliate him, Edna or Edith.  Or Brunhilde.

Just a word of caution - you seem to think of this as a low commitment thing.  Make sure he does too.

I do like the name Jenny, but I wouldn't name him that. I associate the name with Pirate Jenny from the Three Penny Opera.

"The song depicts Jenny, a lowly maid at a "crummy old hotel", imagining avenging herself for the contempt she endures from the townspeople. A pirate ship – with eight sails, and with 50 cannons – enters the harbor, fires on the city and flattens every building except the hotel. The pirates come ashore, chain up all the townspeople, and present them to Jenny, who orders the pirates to kill them all. She then sails away with the pirates.
The song was originally placed in the first act and is sung by Mackie's bride, Polly Peachum, who resents her parents' opposition to her trying her luck with Mackie and is fantasizing about avenging herself on the constraints of her family. However, the song is frequently moved to the second act and given to the prostitute Jenny. Jenny has given Mackie, her former lover, shelter from the police but is jealous of his wife, Polly. Eventually, she tips off the police, who catch Mackie and take him to his hanging. Her song suggests that she likes the idea of having Mackie's fate in her hands."

Not exactly appropriate, as you can see. I do like the idea of feminizing him. He's expressed his love of humiliation and female clothing which makes me much more comfortable in naming him. Thanks for the suggestion DarkSteven.

I don't know exactly what he expects, but I see this as potentially becoming a long term friendship. He has insinuated something along the same lines. If it doesn't work it doesn't work. I send back the key and things go back to the way they were before, at least I assume so.

Well, he doesn't want to be called Steve, and you're intrigued with the idea of feminizing him... so... Stephanie?

Hi Elsa,   if being the non-submissive is your goal, you may want to just refer to your new friend in the third person, thus stripping him of the dignity of a name.   You might also consider him addressing you with a name of power e.g. Isis or with a salutation of respect, e.g. Ms.

Hmm. That's an interesting idea. I'm trying to wrap my head around how I'd go about writing him messages in the third person. These are all great suggestions and much appreciated.

He formally addresses me by Miss.

And Stephanie isn't bad. I'm going to put a little more thought into it, but that might work.

How about patrick, or alexander?
I liked both of those names, and I am Elsa's godmother, so she would take my suggestion seriously. M

There is always Joe but that makes me think of Joe Dirt   DAAAANG! Do you ever say to him "It puts the lotion on the skin", nevermind that's not a serious question.

welcome by the way
