I was just about to answer you on the evils of Brietbart but Owner59 put it well enough, I think

As for the Acorn thing,

Every single investigation into the matter has come out in Acorn's favor. There was no evidence of any institutional wrongdoing, and those who did voter registration fraud were turned in by ACORN themselves. Also, here's some important things to consider about the "sting":
1.) He did NOT go in dressed as a pimp. They filmed themselves in a costume for the camera, then took them off before they went in to look more "normal."
2.) The man inside that he talked to? Took all O'Keefe's information and then called the police on him.
3.) Investigations also show that the tapes here heavily edited to give a certain impression.

But none of this matters, because Acorn doesn't exist anymore. They were taken out because they helped poor people and minorities register to vote, and so who knows how many democratic votes were lost in future elections? But this is Breitbart's M.O. He launches these Kamikaze slander-missions that don't stand the test of time but by the time the truth comes out it's already too late. We've seen this with Acorn AND Shirley Sherrod.

Hoax or not, Breitbart ended up performing a public service.  Listen to you libs!!  ACORN got millions in public funding.  Public funding comes from TAX DOLLARS.  Those tax dollars were collected from Republicans (mostly, I would imagine), Democrats and Independents but ONLY  Democrats were being registered to vote.  If you don't see the problem with this, you are dishonest to your core.

That poster LIED... the story Brietbart reported on was TRUE -- not "fake".

i provided a video link... IN THEIR OWN WORDS... so nobody was "trapped" or "edited" to show something that didn't happen.  If you honestly believe this AFTER watching the video, then you have as much credibility as that other delusional poster.

Thus, you've provided ZERO evidence to support your allegation of "many" reasons.  You've supported "one" supposed "reason", that has been proven a LIE.  Brietbart reported what had taken place at ACORN, and that reporting was accurate.  Respectfully, with every post you show how foolishly partisan you are, so as to ignore facts that right in front of your face simply because they don't fit your side of the political fence.  The only LIAR here has been that other poster who put forth the FALSE allegation that the ACORN story was fake.  It was not... and the video proves it.

Oh you are too funny!!!!  So a partisan organization should take public funding to register only one voting block?  You are a real constitutional scholar, my man!  ACORN is gone!  Thank God.  If people want to resurrect it, they should do it with charitable donations and advertising, NOT with our tax dollars.

Matters not to me. On this issue, Weiner was wrong to lie to the public and try and deflect blame over what really amounts to a non-issue except for his wife

I cant say the same about Arnold. I dont recall him denying the affair or the child.

Clinton denied it, which sorta pissed me off.

Gingrich is the poster boy for sexual hypocrisy in politics.

You want to call him a liar?  Feeeeeeeeeeeeel freeeeeee!  The man accomplished a great task.  You cannot escape the fact that a partisan organization like ACORN should not have received public funding.  I would say the same thing of the Catholic Church (or any other religious faith) if it started taking political positions. The FACT is that ACORN should have been supported by charitable donations only if they were going to register only democrat voters.

I havent heard him complain about not being taken seriously. Ive only heard him complain, rightfully, about the Soros character assassins doing their best to head off and then bury the story. Theyve done a good job, too, as evidenced by this board, where there are continual lies about his stories.

No, genius, ACORN shouldn't have registered any voters.  You want to run a charity that finds people housing and jobs?  Feel free.  Stay away from political view points and positions so you don't lose your funding.  The DNC is capable of registering voters as is the RNC.
