In Alliance, Ohio, they have a community theatre that was renovated from an old firehouse, named the Firehouse Theatre. I did a few shows there, and it's really cool. Backstage, you can see the big wooden double-doors that they probably threw open to let the horses that were pulling the fire wagons run, and the old brass pole extends up into the ceiling of the main auditorium. And of course, firehouse memorabilia everywhere. Good times had there :)

I wish they had a link with some photos, but they don't :(

Years ago, I remember the crew of Real World living in an old firehouse, in Boston I think. I fell in love with them then.

There's a lady here who bought an old firehouse and converted it into living space. It's not as fancy as those but she also uses it as her art studio so it makes sense to leave a lot of open area.
