Yahoo Travel. If you can be flexible by a day or two on your travelling dates, when looking for airfare, DON'T enter the exact dates you think you want to travel. Check the "My dates are flexible" option. You are given the rock-bottom fares in lowest to highest order. It takes a bit of time and effort, and the dates can be limiting, but if you persevere, you might be able to find a great airfare by leaving the day before or after when you want to go. You might get lucky and find fares for the exact days you want to go. The trick is NOT to enter exact dates. Also, check nearby airports. Philadelphia departures, for example, always seem to be higher, but Newark and Baltimore (especially Baltimore) have given me some great bargains. I've flown to Europe twice recently for well under $400 round-trip each time, and Baltimore to San Antonio for $200 even, just a couple months ago. And when searching earlier this week, I found the amazing fare of $113 round-trip from Baltiimore to Cleveland, for the exact dates I wanted.
