I've had two interviews this week, One was 5 minutes which basically consisted of "hello, Why did you leave you last position, Oh you were fired, have a nice day"

and the other one lasted a whole hour.

which one am I more likely to get?

Why do businesses think that because someone was fired in their last job that it was something that you did? I have clearly explained that they fired me because I was not meeting their sales goals.

Not going to tell them that I was quite sick of their BS and their attitudes as well

I don't think it matters how long the interview is. If someone wants to hire you, they will.

I just got two job offers this week. One lasted 3 hours, the other interview 30 minutes.

If they like you, they go for you.

You really have to watch how things are worded.

I blew an offer not realizing that it was an offer.

Yes, there really is an art to interviewing; I might write a book someday about it.

PA, if you get an offer verbally, always request it in writing and double check it. Also negotiate; I just negotiated for a much higher base from the original offer.

As far as explaining why you left your last company, you need to be careful about how you word that as well. Always put a positive spin on any exit you made from a company.

I would never say that you were fired; I would use words like mass layoffs, lack of fulfilling work, the paradigm of the business model has changed, you looked for a new opportunity for growth with an innovator, lots of positive things can be said.

I have interviewed 7 people this week.  If you interest me after the first few minutes, I forget the script in my head and just let it flow.  If I know after the first few minutes that you will not be a good fit, I stick to the script and we are done in 15 minutes.

My longest interview went almost 45 minutes, shortest one about 10.  Others about 20.

I am going to offer the job to the one that I spent more time with.  If she decides to take it, I am done.  If not, I am scheduling more interviews for next week, because none of the others would be a good fit.

Because not meeting an employers expectations is still perceived as your fault even if it was related to something you weren't doing as opposed to something you were doing wrong.

I would tell the truth of it: the job became more sales oriented which wasn't something you were originally hired for and it wasn't something you turned out to be very good at.
However, you need to avoid jobs that involve selling like the plague.

"After XX years of productivity as a programmer, I was shifted to sales and it didn't work out."

Dude, you may not like sales but you have to sell yourself.  The companies are under no obligation to hire you - you need to make them want to do that, and you're not doing that now.

8 minutes.  I was sure I blew it.  The woman who hired me later said, "We knew in the first 3 minutes we wanted you because of your sunny disposition.  We need happy people here."  No lie.

However: if you are lying on your belly flailing your arms and legs about then that's rather negative.
