It's funny to me when a supposed "professor" has to ask about research on smarts and brilliant leadership. and cant dream that any 50 yr old man has more life experience than "just a community organizer. And can only use some twat like jon voight as his idea of awesome political savvy.
There is a huge chasm of disconnect there, I mean one of the marianas trench depth chasm.
You're spot on Lucy. Speaking a few languages doesn't necessarily mean a person is smart.
However graduating in Law at Harvard after being the Editor of the Harvard Law Review, and teaching Law at the Uni of Chicago is generally accepted as convincing evidence of intellectual talent.
Rising from rather humble beginnings to the US Senate and the Presidency, indeed being the first non-white President in history and a Nobel Peace Prize winner would be generally accepted as convincing evidence of being smart.
OTOH I'm unaware of which scale our esteemed "College Professor" uses to determine a person is "a self-important, conceited, egotistical jerk". Could it be that the phrase arrived in the vacuum between his ears last time he shaved? It's certainly the kind of phrase that occurs instantly when forced to confront images like the one in his mirror then.
