This is the first time this has happened and I don't understand how this can happen. Someone contacted me and my messages appear no where to be sent. Is there a setting that I am not aware of.

They sent you a message and then proceeded to block you. Just a thought.

Should be a button at the bottom left that says "Reply To Message". Is it gone or greyed out or something ?

I understand the button. What I received was a email that would not let me reply. Even in the message sent to me by CollarMe telling me that I had a message it referred to it as a no reply email. I didn't know that we could set up emails to be sent and not allow the person to reply,

Sure you can. For example (not saying this is what happened in your case) I can, and have, blocked a person before sending them an email to let them know that I did not appreciate their full frontal nudity shot as a primary pic showing up on My "who's viewing" list. There are a number of folks on this site that do what I call preemptive blocking. You may not have ever contacted them but they just want to make sure it stays that way.

I have done that preemptive blocking a few times myself but mostly I just hide those with photos or profiles I don't want to see in the future.
