I do not take Coulter seriously.... most people I know (meaning of all poliitcal stripes) are repelled by her rhetoric, which is really low class, nasty, and filled with hatred. She is a very divisive figure, a la Rush Limbaugh, etc.

Again, thats some really twisted logic ken. Ive explained why, Kirata has explained why... I dont mean to be insulting but the reason as to why its twisted is really very simple, and I dont believe I or anyone else can possibly break it down any further for you.

That message coming from a woman that attacked victims of 911 because they had questions that disagreed with her political agenda seems a tad hypocritical...

However, there is a need to assess a purported authority's prior accuracy in considering something they write. "Appeal to authority" is not a logical fallacy unless the appeal is to a discredited authority.
