Welcome to CM and the boards. Read older and newer threads here, ask questions, use the search feature, located top right hand corner of this page. Please be safe if you haven't done this before, that's paramount. Have a safe call, meet people in a coffee shop or restaurant before you go anywhere with them/him/her. Get all the necessary info from them and let a friend know. It's heady in the first times and you have to look out for yourself. Not all are predators, but they are out there and you need to have a good head on your shoulders. Above all else, please listen to your gut instinct, if it doesn't feel right then walk away. Don't be talked into anything you're not comfy with and don't let anyone play the "scaredy-cat" card. Good luck in your search, please know I'm not trying to discourage you, I'm speaking from experience, the school of hard knocks.
