ORIGINAL: OrionTheWolf ~FR~ I pretty much believe the same way as the OP states it. Many of the issues that we have faced in the last financial crisis are still there. There is no sound fiscal policy, and Six Flags seems to be in control of the dollar. The GDP for our country has been horrible, and the projection for the first quarter not even close. The corporatist are not going to do anything about it. The US has almost been completely looted already, and that has been going on since the late 60's I believe, and has gotten worse since the 80's. What I find odd is that so many say they are sick of the politicians, but still vote for the incumbant if it matches the party affiliation. I also have been stating for years that the great divide, along party lines, is something that has been used against us, by those we put in office. It has to stop, this is not a game, this is not a "neener, neener" playground child's game. We have to decide that it is our, and the next genderations duty to sacrifice a lot so that this nation can continue. It is going to take a revamp of the system, and it can start with getting corporations out of the political system. Then we the people can decide we don't want to know what trash the other guy has, we want to know what is a politician willing to do to fix things, AND HOLD THEM TO IT. The change starts with all of us, and as long as we support all this bickering and name calling, starting right here on these boards can be a place to start, then why should we expect any change from those in office? I already have several people on block, their silence allows me to read past their BS and see where those of many different areas of life are trying to come together. I agree Orion, with what you have written. The Democrats want to blame the Republicans and the Republicans want to blame the Democrats, and both sides are to blame for not protecting and caring about the long term future of the American people. It is a scandal and a shame, that a country as great as this one, with some of the smartest, brightest and most highly educated people to advise us, could not have done a better job to keep this from happening. I agree with this country being looted, and it is a scandal and a shame to see America in the shape we are in, and it seems to be getting worse and worse.
