Spinning language doesn't alter the fundamental realities. The GOP is good at it...but it's still the constant drive to repeal.

Sure... but get it off the TAXPAYERS' backs as well.  I'm fine with Health Savings Accounts, a medical insurance tax-deduction, and so forth that firmly places control with the INDIVIDUAL -- not with the Employer or the Government.  Had Social Security been set up in a similar way, for example, the Government couldn't have gotten their sticky fingers on other people's money.  It'd be akin to "Renter's Credit" on your tax return... "Medical Insurance Credit" -- and it certainly would NOT be mandated.
