Welcome. As someone who has done this type of work professionally....full-time nanny work, that is....I'd like to say that your expectations are completely unrealistic. You want 24/7 live care for your newborn along with numerous "domestic duties", "servicing" you while creating a close emotional bond with your wife, working on "self-improvement" as dictated by you and blogging about the experiences all while maintaining a " "Sweet" Outlook - Positive, upbeat, happy, obedient, compliant, dutiful, hardworking, pleasant, agreeable, devoted, amiable, cheerful, joyful, pleasing"? All this for an "au pair stipend" and the chance to...enjoy....the experience? What about health insurance/taxes/the opportunity of this young lady to further her education...you know, things that actually matter in real life? What happened...did you get blacklisted by the local domestic placement agencies?
