My sincerest sympathies to his Mistress, family & friends.

SorceressJ -> RE: Slavekal (6/13/2011 1:01:08 PM)

Words fail me on this one. As a writer, that's rare.. [&o]

I suppose that ours is not to reason why and all that, but love and peace to everyone who feels this loss.
RIP, little brother..

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Slavekal (6/13/2011 7:29:07 PM)

Evidently Kal had a heart problem that he didn't know about. Repairing it, had he known, would have a involved a surgery with limited chance of survival.

YSG -> RE: Slavekal (6/13/2011 9:01:57 PM)

Damn. Rest in peace, Kal. I will miss seeing your posts.

LaTigresse -> RE: Slavekal (6/14/2011 3:39:44 AM)

My heart also goes out to Boijen.......I always got the feeling that she and Kal were good friends. Too often the friends kinda get left out of the support needed.

Kana -> RE: Slavekal (6/14/2011 4:16:25 AM)

Sympathy condolences and snuggles to all who grieve.

Yes they were. This is terrible news. What a shock.

He was so full of life and energy. This is how I will always remember him.

Slavekal's Mistress wrote such a wonderful tribute to him on her profile it brought tears to my eyes.  I will truly miss his posts.  I didn't chat w/him on the boards but I did enjoy reading his posts & respected his opinions.

Wheldrake -> RE: Slavekal (6/14/2011 11:03:55 AM)

Let me add my condolences to everyone else's. I knew Slavekal only through these boards, but his posts were always well worth reading.

That is a very sweet video. I will miss Ka's posts. I loved how proud and outspoken he was about being a submissive. I thought he was quite an inspiration to the male subs. I hope his book will continue to be available.

My most sincere and deepest sympathies go to his Mistress, close friends and family.  Although I didn't know him personally, I did love reading his posts.  They were always thoughtful and insightful.  Rest in peace Kal.  You won't be forgotten on these boards.

Rochsub2009 -> RE: Slavekal (6/14/2011 8:14:02 PM)

I don't think they'd mind me posting this here, since so many have offered their condolences.

This was posted by SlaveKal's Domme, Ms. Mlicious:

I regret to announce that my pet, my beloved slavekal has died. He died this past Saturday 6/11/11, of an aortic aneurism. He was unaware that he had the condition and it was bound to happen. Earlier in the day he'd asked me to bring him some groceries because he was feeling ill the last 3 days, and when I got there he was already gone. (He was a muscle bound man, yes, and be advised that he abhorred drugs/steroids or any other nonsense like that. He lived clean)
To say I love him doesn't seem to get at everything he was to me. It is magnified by the fact that I feel useless as a Domme. The power dynamic is incomplete and I literally don't know what to do without him. I cannot think past him right now and I don't expect to any time soon.
On the other side, I am rocked daily with realizations of how incredible he was and how he took such good care of me. He made all my dreams come true. I was loved so well, so I am the luckiest woman in the world to have had him for as long as I did. He was perfect for me and I was perfect for him. I am proud that he was mine. M

SorceressJ -> RE: Slavekal (6/14/2011 8:25:32 PM)

Thank you, rochsub.. [sm=sigh.gif] Please tell M that for what it may be worth, our love is with Her.

VideoAdminRho -> RE: Slavekal (6/14/2011 10:07:41 PM)

So very sorry to hear this. Slavekal was a valued member of this community, whose posts made it clear that he both loved and was loved by those close to him. That is the most anyone can wish for in this life. The people here who read his posts and took his advice (or even disagreed) are likely better for it, myself included.

From the CM staff, allow me to offer condolences and good thoughts to Ms. Mlicious, and anyone else lucky enough to have had slavekal in their lives.

Rho

From the video it looked like he checked out blissfully unaware that his time was short, he never knew what it was to be an invalid, or to have a restricted life, or what the pain of aging would be with such an issue. And while it would have been better to live with those problems... because we all want to live, at least he never knew pain. And that is a small blessing in its own way.

My thoughts are with all those who loved him... how very sad it is when someone young and dynamic and full of life has lost it....

ElanSubdued -> RE: Slavekal (6/15/2011 12:46:00 AM)

I didn't know Kal well, but I am, none-the-less, saddened to hear of his passing and I hope Ms. Mlicious has friends and support around her.  My thoughts and wishes go out to her and to Kal's friends and family.

tiggerspoohbear -> RE: Slavekal (6/15/2011 5:57:59 AM)

Thank you so much Roch for re-printing what Ms. Mlicious had to say.  I can't even imagine the pain and loss she is feeling at this point.  My heart goes out to her, loved ones, family and friends.  He was indeed a credit to male submissives/slaves and was strong in his beliefs.

The eulogy, for wont of a better word was eloquent for a Lady who is in so much pain now.  If anyone is in touch with her, please let her know she has the support of this community, myself included, and that we will all miss him.  Such a tragic end to a young life.  Knowing he went fast is a hidden blessing as I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted to be in pain or know his days may have been numbered.

Struck down in his prime is never easy to accept, but indeed we must.  Let us live life as if it were our last day here.  He was the embodiment of that.  RIP Kal.   I know my life will be lived with much more enthusiasm and zest.  I also will ensure to tell my loved ones how much I care for them.   It just goes to show that you just never know.  [:o]
