I usually don't watch more than a few minutes of basketball at a time. This year, boys in my family were playing in school, and watching enthusiastically, I kind of got into it, a little more.
I wanted the Celtics to win, but the team is tad old and decrepit (Shaq), compared to many of the youngins on the court.
For the first time ever, I saw Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki playing, amazingly scoring from anywhere in the court. So, when the Heat, and Mavericks got to the finals, everyone around me who has watched basketball for years, assured me, the Championship was done; it was the Heat's. They also informed me Dirk has never won a championship, and Lebron was unstoppable. I told them, I thought it was Dirk Nowitzki, and Jason Kid's turn. I was screaming like a fool at my sibblings, and a few friends, when Dallas Mavericks DELIVERED.
