I am a long term participant in the lifestyle, over 25 years now...and yes, I did get an early start...I found my way to the lifestyle at 18...
I live in Jacksonville Florida...where a day without sunshine is like....well, it's like night, quite frankly...lol
I am 45...and have for the last several years, not pursued a 24/7 relationship with a submissive...they have been too disappointing in the past...wannabe subs that claim a committment to the lifestyle, who are in reality mere players and poseurs. I have for each of the last three years, assumed the contract for young submissives aged 18-25, and "shown them the ropes"...(damn, I hate that expression).
My last young sub has recently learned all she can from me, and is now returning to New Jersey, from where she relocated for a year to be with me...and so I am available to meet another...I will not consider anyone obese, nor older than 27, and I prefer a girl without preconceived notions of what the lifestyle should be about, after hanging out in chatrooms and reading bdsm fiction. If you are married, your husband must be aware of your activities, and no, he is not invited to watch...I prefer a submissive or slave with the available time to invest in truly learning what this lifestle can offer.
