I find many newspapers in Britain do a far better and fairer job of covering both sides of politics in the USA. The left wingnut media and politicans must be scared shitless of Palin, what else could explain their rabid hunt for something, anything, just one tidbit to discredit her! The left wingnut media has lied and falsfied so many things over the years that its amazes Me that anyone would even consider watching them much less quote them! Remember when joe the plumber asked obama if he really wanted to raise taxes and the media rushed to dig into his back ground to discredit him? They did everything they could to make obama look good.... thank u media for not reading obamas books or looking at his associates, instead they attacked any who questioned him....they did good! GO SARAH GO!!!

I was unaware that anyone thought they would find some smoking gun in the E-mails? After being sanitized by the state government, ran by her successor and friend, surely there was to be nothing left of any real interest. An English bloggers opinion, of no consequence. B O R I N G...but, look who posted it...

I dont think anyone here left or right or center, or even "moderate" independants have read the emails and has no interest in doing so unlike the still rabid birthers who have been dribbling and raving about the birth certificate for almost four years...yet not one of them has been able to dig up anything other than the the kenya bc FORGED BY a birther . How incompetent and even more impotent than those who ARE hungry for the sanitized release of emails amazing tho that the UK press are suddenly the good guys after being roundly discredited as not knowing what is going on I wonder how many others will praise this?

It has been raved about by the hard right here that you fuckin people should stay out of our politics, so I have no idea why you are pushing your socialist views of palins emails at us, and led by a hard righter. Thats almost as guffawable as our resident neo-con quoting and adulating spanish communists. LOL. GAWD I LOVE THIS FUCKIN TOWN!!!!

Aww,fuck that last post of mine was a cheap shot....and I apologize for it.Now I would like to address her post...in which she attacks the "left wingnut media" and she chooses to do so by bringing up the Joe the plumber affair....lol.Well "lady"(somehow I'm thinking that is an insult to actual Ladies...but what the fuck I am trying to be nice...no really I am)how did that all turn out for Joe....was he not proven to be a complete and utter asswipe?Did he not offer some a less than truthful(still trying to be nice) picture of his own circumstance ? What with "Joe" making himself part of the story.....confrontational voter nails candidate on issues that matter to him.....didn't the media do it's job in revealing that the "Joe the plumber" character was invented in the corridors of his own deceitful mind? What sort of media do you envision....one where some asswipe gets to ask the candidate any question he wants,inventing from scratch any scenario he can dream up,placing himself in the heroes role of course....and the media blithely goes along with the fantasy? Lastly I can of course agree with your closing sentiment....Go Sarah Go.....yes indeed,please go far away and leave the public business to those best suited to do it....those with some degree of intelligence,the fortitude to see the job thru to completion and the ethics to do so without seeking myriad ways in which to enrich themselves and their family.

I hope you will forgive me if I actually discuss the topic and not the example. Yes. The UK press does not have a horse in the race. They tend to be much more even handed when discussing US politics. Most news outlets here are so polarized as to be totally useless. The UK press is ALMOST totally useless. It's a big improvement.
