slvemike4u -> Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 7:39:52 PM)

Michelle Bachmann made it official as she announced tonight in the New Hampshire debate that she has filed her paperwork.Romney pledged to repeal "Obamacare"...as did every other candidate....of course Romney in doing so had to run away from,or draw a distinction between Romneycare and Obamacare.
I watched the Yankee game(Jeter going for 3,000 trumps these idiots every day) so I am watching it taped.....but it seems they are all running against President Obama....when will they start running against each other ?
They must first win the nomination, before they take on the President.

I officially cannot wait until the republican debates..... OOooooo fun!

slvemike4u -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 7:43:53 PM)

Bacmann declares ....."make no mistake about it Obama is a term President"..... came pretty damm close to guaranteeing a Republican victory.
What a fucking twit.

juliaoceania -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 7:45:10 PM)

She is crazy... literally, like Charlie Manson crazy..... have you seen how her eyes have that rabid coon look to them?

provfivetine -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 7:54:05 PM)

If any Republican other than Ron Paul gets the nomination, then it would be better if Barack Obama just gets re-elected. Bachmman and co. will probably start another Middle Eastern crusade, and I believe that the first great war of the 21st century will happen if things don't change fast.

May I add that Ron Paul matches up best against Obama and he isn't as big of a long-shot as most think. Remember Obama and Reagan both were considered long-shots and both came out of nowhere so to speak.

Here's how I see it if Ron Paul gets elected...

Ron Paul won't get a single thing through Congress since even the Tea Partiers think that he's too libertarian. However, as Commander in Chief, Ron Paul will end the militarism. Our image overseas will be substantially improve and he's the only candidate that will end these wars.

If Obama gets re-elected, then nothing will happen. The war-mongering will continue, and he won't get a single domestic thing passed through Congress, much like Ron Paul.

Progressives should support Ron Paul.

I am not so sure Dr Paul has both ores in the water...so, I'll have to pass.

As for Ms. Bachman, this should be good!

Wonder who will play her on SNL?

slvemike4u -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 7:58:49 PM)

Bachmann is a hoot and a holler...she wants to do away with the EPA right off the top....who needs clean air anyway, drinking water pfttt...who needs it.
All I am hearing is tax cuts, repeal Obamacare...and deregulate everything.
Once again it seems like Republicans will run on gov't being evil....so please put us in charge of it....lol.Are they not part and parcel of gov't?

slvemike4u -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 8:01:46 PM)

There is something wrong right off the bat when that is the first thing that comes to mind...you can be sure when they put together next years cast that will be on what's his name mind(senior moment) every time he is looking at a prospective female cast members audition. She will make the Palin goldmine of comedy look like chump change....lol

Holy shit, not one of these clowns would have bailed out the auto industry....everyone of them would have let the companies go thru bankruptcy court....all of this despite the wonderful turn around experienced by the industry.
Batshit crazy each and every one of them
Newt declares the private sector would now be operating a "permanent space station" on the moon had the private sector spent the money NASA has in the last 30 years...of course he never explained what the profit margin would have been for the private sector....too funny.

Oh how wonderful.........The scuttlebutt around the neck of the woods where I'm from, that is a GM town with a few factories still around though many closed down is "No way I'm buying from Government Motors.

slvemike4u -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 8:26:28 PM)

"government motors"....how very original of the folks around your way.....so what are they buying....a nice little subcompact from Japan?
The constraints of the debate were explained beforehand...perhaps making silly statements that one can not explain is not a great idea under these conditions.

slvemike4u -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 8:37:12 PM)

The question concerning separation of church and state elicited some interesting answers.....scary answers, but interesting all the same.Cain would not be comfortable with Muslims that are trying to kill us in his administration.....no kidding,he just wouldn't be comfortable...that whole "trying to kill us" thing is a deal breaker.
You can not make this stuff up.

I know some excellent auto technicians. I have been told for most of my life if I buy a Dodge/Chrysler to buy all the warranty you can afford. No change there. Personally I have always owned a Ford or GM. As it stands now the recommendation is Ford rear wheel drives, mostly V8's or uh.....well....Japanese compacts, subcompacts or other import. This is from a strictly overall best reliability, resale and best machine for the money standpoint.

As for the constraints of the debate Gingrich had to state the premise of his point.  I'm sure the press will follow up and I;m sure Gingrich can explain it.

Hillwilliam -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 8:42:01 PM)

I'm still pulling for Cain.

slvemike4u -> RE: Bacmann is officially in (6/13/2011 8:52:21 PM)

Yeah Hillman I'm all for a guy that won't allow Muslims who are trying to kill us into his administration.....I mean what the fuck if you can't get that minimal amount of commitment from your people...who needs them.Gingrich thought it was a capitol idea....and went a step further...he will have no one in his administration who cannot swear an oath to the constitution.
I feel safer already [:D]
