4 Combine hot water, ammonia, washing soda and vinegar in a clean empty gallon milk jug. Shake the jug and then use it to clean the surface where the diesel was spilled. This will clean the area as well as eliminate any odors

BINGO!!!!!! This is part of the remedy to remove the odor of cat urine from a carpet and it really does work!

Just in case you are wondering...

 Removing Cat Pee and Odor from Carpet
  • hydrogen peroxide
  • liquid dish washing soap
  • Arm and Hammer baking soda
  • empty plastic bottle to put solution in once it is mixed up
Using any plastic container mix the solution as follows:
  • 16 oz. bottle hydrogen peroxide
  • 1 teaspoon dish washing liquid soap
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
Mix well using a plastic spoon. If you have a large area or more than one area to clean you may want to use a bigger bowl and mix enough solution according to your needs. Once it is mixed put into your empty plastic bottle. Always discard unused portion because the oxygen in the peroxide mixed with these other items can make it explode (glares at Mark.....shup. Juuuuust shuddup!!)
