ORIGINAL: BitaTruble Cain disappointed but I lived with Paws as my gov and he did exactly what I expected him to do... wussed out. I think "wussed out" is a bit harsh. You're never going to see him play attack dog within the party, and may have to light a fire under his butt if he's the nominee. That's just his nature, and sometimes quiet can rise above the din. Well, he played attack dog last week well enough when he called out Romney's health care plan. I think the real reason he didn't call out Romney is because if Romney gets the nod, I'm thinking that Paws wants that #2 spot. The man fessed up without excuses to cap & trade as befits his parties line.. so that's good for GOP moderates and those who lean further to the right and I can't fault the guy for abiding by that party line. I don't really trust him because he raises taxes but calls them fees, but I'm not going to demonize him either. I just think he's sorta wussy. You have to remember that we used to have Jesse Ventura as gov.. after him, everyone looks sorta wussy. ::grins:: In any event, I think Paws would be an okay #2 for the GOP .. it will give him some time to fill out and beef up those political muscles.
