I am still around but have to work on the diet before I can get the bypass surgery. This means at least 3 nutrient meetings, a headshirck visit, a primary visit with the surgeon and the actual date. I have to give up chocolate for a bit, no more fried foods (there goes my gizzards).
I find that the information at the site is quite informative. At least 1 or 2 days in hospital, with a morphine drip. Afterwards, I have to be on a liquid diet for 2 or 3 weeks, then soft foods (baby food). I have to watch how I eat, chew each bite 20 to 30 times to make it small. Gezz...Thhis is how I try to eat food (sans the baby food).
I will lurk around from time to time.
