The problem with punishment in BDSM relationships is that it is a very individualized thing. Some people like pain, so causing physical discomfort is a reward for them rather than a punishment. Similarly, some people like being humiliated, so embarrassing them is a reward, rather than a punishment.
Only YOU know your sub. So only you can determine what would be an appropriate punishment based on his particular psyche.
Don't try to be too cute initially. Think of something that you know he won't like. Putting his balls in ice may be a reward for him. So you need to thoroughly understand your sub, and then determine what types of punishments he'll enjoy, versus what types of punishment will actually serve as a punishment.
Instead of trying to be too clever, maybe you can think of something a bit more basic. Like make him drink a glass of pickle juice. Or make him eat an onion as though it were an apple, and force him to do it in 2 minutes or less (and of course, he'd have to do it on camera). Or if he has a pet dog or cat, make him lick the pet's fur on camera as though he were giving the pet a tongue bath.
