Really... I think its a good idea... The greens don't have to present the same way the pompous traditional politicians... And his constituents still find him electable. I heard one commentator from NYC state that Weiner could still probably succeed in a run for mayor of NYC. Didn't say anything about party affiliation either.

The democrats did not like him because he made democrats (like Blanche fucking Lincoln) run for cover on the healthcare reform debate. He was a strong and theatrical proponent for healthcare. The brightest star amongst truly liberal democrats, and they snuffed him.

I used to hold my nose and vote for democrats because they had a few goodies, like Dennis Kucinich, but really, they eat their own young.... I may vote for Boxer because she has earned it, fuck all the rest as far as I am concerned.

I absolutely agree. It's like the rest of them were neutered/castrated, or told to shut up, and act like a lady, when Obama took office, I am sorry to say. I agree with other posters who said, it was the Dems, who as usual, didn't have his back.

However, I don't agree that going green will be helpfull, because green is still too small to compete, and wil. So, I think it would be better for him to take time off, and come back for Governorship position. M
