Most of the subs who contact me and want/need to be subs are just that type of man. They are strong, confident businessmen, bosses etc. Seems they need to be a sub, I think they need to be able to let go and leave thier real lives and just be the one to beg and be bossed around.

Add a sense of humor to the intelligence and inherent power mentioned above, and a sincere desire to please me.... a formula for success I look for in a male submissive. To all of the above, add honesty, integrity, a sense of morals that is compatable with ours, and a personality that we can get along with for most of 24/7 and we'll take him.

Below is an IDEAL -- I have never met anyone who matched it perfectly. Well, I look for someone to whom submission and service are natural but who also is laid back about that part of themselves. It isn't a desire to be submissive or even a sexual thrill but an extension of their personality. They kneel for the one they have agreed to serve but not for others who are not yet or may never be worthy of them. They express opinions and interests in a forward and polite fashion, able to defend their positions without needing to defeat the other views. I need someone who is intelligent and well-rounded in intellectual interests. They need to be interested in RPGs and science fiction and horror, they should be picky though about what they enjoy. They should like music and the arts even if they are not artistic themselves (though is appreciated). They should be self-disciplined and organized enough to have things well in-hand yet not so static that they can't walk away from a project to take me somewhere or come up to the bedroom or crawl across the floor to me at a moment's notice. They should be able to plan things out so that there is enough time to get it done regardless of what mundane life throws at them. They should be confident in their self-identity. They can wear anything without worry about what others might think yet not purposely go about in an attempt to get others to look at them or comment about them. They may or may not be interested in gender stereotyped things but this is not a reflection of their need to prove themselves but a real expression of their interests. They need to be able to switch emotional gears and moods with my own -- serious to silly to sexy within less than a minute. They have to be secure enough in their person and sexuality to know that even if I have ten other partners (I think that might kill me though) it does not lessen them in my eyes. They also must be open enough to let me see any problems they have to offer my help. Please note that I didn't mention a specific sex in any of this; I could apply it equally to male or female or intersexed.
