Status: offline 		I and my profile are both quite real.  I don't actually log off of CM after my morning visit and my computer typically stays on all day, so I suppose my profile's probably up all day long even if I'm not paying attention.  I'd never really given the matter much thought before.

Sorry, it will be "Hunting the Femsub - Part 1", because that is my point of view.  However, using the concepts to look at the way you are searching for a femdom may bring some illumination to you and others.

Status: offline 		Am I the only one to notice that if you are logged into CM, yet not "actively doing" anything on the main page (i.e., lingering in your email area or visiting the forums), your status will show as having last been online by however many minutes it's been since you logged in?

I first noticed this because I would be logged in to CM for hours but not even at my computer, but the moment I refreshed the main page, I'd be "hit" with half a dozen messages and chat requests. Having more than one computer at my disposal, it was easy enough to validate this theory.

The point on topic being, if you are logged in but not active, you aren't one of the females that the OP is talking about.

Status: offline 		It's just a little technical hitch; the thing to do is not to believe what the clock says :-)  Something many of us are used to doing, surely! I just rely on the last day the person was on the site. Although it HAS been annoying when I have attempted to communicate with a friend lives on the other side of the Pond. He seems to rely on the 'last on' information.

Okay I am jetlagged half to braindeath, so I shall go back to quietness.

You caught us.  We're all 14 year old computer nerdboys sneaking time on Mommy's keyboard.  There are no women here.

How are your search parameters set?  And how does CM set their "profile is online" parameters?  Figuring that out might get you some clues as to why some profiles appear to be "always on".

I do have to wonder about guys looking for instant gratification to the point that they'll only look at profiles if the user is on the site and can give an immediate response.  There are folks who are too busy to check this site more often than once or twice a week, and it is worthwhile to go through ALL the profiles in your area and actually read them to have the best chance of a match.

Status: offline 		People behind the profiles are real, the characters are sometimes just fictional...i`ve had my share and i wish i had a "magic crystal ball"to spot the fakers ...meanwhile i try to find a real person who has the courage to meet this girl to see how real she is

It is still necessary to maintain the common sense you have, and USE IT.

I guess I don't see the problem.  I have been on other D/s forums and seen the same people there all day too and I know they were real because I met a lot of them at a party Ris and I had at our  home.  We ended up having about 50 people here that came from all over the U.S. that we met on a forum.

Status: offline 		I'm online quite a bit, and since I have two computers one of them is usually logged onto collarme.  Just because it says I'm online, doesn't mean I'm anywhere near my computer.  LOL.

Status: offline 		My profile is real.  The system loops only the most recent people online *with photos* which is why you see so many of the same over and over.  I work at home on the computer, and usually leave my browser window open on Collarme while I am working. 

Of course, mine was NOT one of the profiles you were seeing over and over yesterday, because we were having major thunderstorms, along with grape-sized hail and even snow.  Very, very weird.

A number of browser set ups will autorefresh pages after a period of time. I myself use Opera and if I don't disable the refresh or close the window, I'll be online all day long.

I'd suggest talking to people who might catch your attention. It's the only way to find out if they're "real" (by your count) or not. To head off the pass, you are not assured to get a response to every mail you send. (Though your response rate will increase with the quality of the mail you send.)

Seriously though.
 
I log in and sometimes walk away from the computer or begin doing other things and simply leave CM open. Your point is what?If you don't like seeing the same profiles then make them so you don't see them period. It's called self help. But to  claim noone is real because the same profiles comes up makes you seem extremely foolish.

Other posters have pretty well covered the subject.
 
I know my profile is for real, as well as for real.  I just am rather new to the "message boards."  I know my screen name is for real, it is my non-deplume and it is my scene name.  Each can channel well to to me directly.  Each will identify me as a lady.

Is your reality different from mine? Perhaps things that I perceive as real aren't real to you and vice versa. So can we really judge another's reality based on our own perceptions? Perhaps what you call "blue" is really my "purple" but I call it blue because that's what I know it as. Maybe when I see red, you see green, but you think it's red.

As a matter of fact, nothing here is real. Everything is virtual. What you see is only an extension of someone's reality existing in virtual cyberspace.

Just take the red pill and perhaps you will know what reality is. Or maybe the blue pill is the better one for you.

The women on here are real, their names have been changed to protect the innocent.

Raven, I am stunned that you think there are only two people on here. I am schizophrenic and I account for at least 15 others on here. And I happen to have met myself off-line several times so I can prove that I am real, and so can I.
