I'm a native Dutch speaker.
The above -awkward- translation to English is as close to the literal meaning as well as the feeling of meaning in Dutch as I could get it, it may be because seppef has got a different regional dialect then mine (which is Dutch could mean that we could hardly understand each other in person) but a lot of his syntax and flow comes across as awkward and archaic, even in Dutch.
