Somehow I think part of the problem may be you comprehending what is written. I never said I said who I was, and I said I do not post there anymore EITHER. Although your offer of help is appreciated,none of your alternatives fit "me", specially since hiding is hiding, no matter if you are the only one that knows or not.(just my opinion and again, not something for me).  As it is, I am busy keeping up over here, since there are numerous areas to the site OTHER than here. Although a fine site, I happen to prefer here over Fet( I know, some of yall just couldn't have guessed that without me saying so, lol) and trust me, any free time that I have I spend here, nowhere else, on or offsite.  It is regrettable that you do not appear to be as satisfied.

I dont understand, these days, why so many folks feel that moderation is based on any familiarity other than the Mods being familiar with any given posters consistent behaviors.
I know when I post in a manner that is NOT in keeping with my usual style (which is fluffy..meaning, that when I get ultra snarky with someone, the Mods may notice it)..I get gold mail IF the mods notice.
I dont see why that would be considered unusual.
Folks that routinely get gold letters shouldnt bitch about the moderation and cry "WOE IS ME".

I would never be asked to moderate, I know I haven't the temperament for it on this scale. I have modded a couple of occasions, but it was not a group of this size... even if it was a political group (which by definition means flame wars). I know one has to hang up their personal opinions about the topics at the door, and it wasn't that hard... but I did miss engaging with posters.

I know you must miss engaging in the conversations, especially when you are not only curtailed here, but elsewhere, too. I do not think I could give that service, and what you are doing is a service to all of us... even if we do not agree with your decisions. A board like this needs mods.
