Have you seen the TV movie or read the book, "IT" (Stephen King)?

Sorry, I don't find King's work all that great. I've read a few books and have seen some of the movies but most of them were stupid, I thought.

I know he's well liked.

Its the only book that gave me nightmares EVER
yet the tv version was totally bLAH
Ive never read anything else that got into my psyche the way IT did
Ive read all his others, and only IT affected me

I love the voice on that first link, just like those old fashioned voices from wildlife documentaries when I was young... truly hilarious

I tell ya, it is the creepy clown that does it!

I watched the TV version, and while some parts of it were well executed, the ending was for the birds....it was not nearly as terrifying as the book.

It's cheese to place a clown in a horror film.

Even worse is people who are actually afraid of it.

I'm not big on people with hard phobias at all really. The kind that freezes people like a doe in a bright light.

That one was just priceless DD, made me LOL.  As it is, I'm watching the original version of "Abbott and Costello", the one with the invisible man.  That one makes me crack up, even after seeing it at least 2 dozen times.  Costello is such a lovable doofus and plays his parts perfectly.

now then, you US types may not have recieved the BBC's Life On Mars?

but this intro gets me good and propper.

Camerwick Green is/was a childrens programme in the '70s.
The music that follows had me freaking out well, as I simply dont get to hear it on the tele.

Life On Mars ; with the Bastardised Camberwick Green

I take the humour where ever I can find it. You are about a 50/50 provider.

I feel the same way..That's one of the main reasons I enjoy this place. You and a few others provide much more than you'll ever know.

So it's a mutual thing. Win Win.

See though, I'm not the one telling someone to ignore my posts unless it's to mock that they use the same line. I could care less what the majority of you think about what I have to say..That should be evident by now, if you're not slow that is.

Let's see how you play off of my words now. I've left you a few good lines. This should get interesting.

Not this morning........my brain is still in bed. Late night and got up too early. Witometer has no power. Hair looks like that annoying guy on that really annoying ghost hunting programme. Eyes keep staring vacantly at nothing. And I am trying to motivate myself to get way too many things done today.

Althoughhhhhhhhh I gotta say, people watching the last few days has been totally fucking awesome. Both here and actual real, physical life. Must love da rednecks with their lack of teeth, toys with wheels, tabaccy, cheap beer, and horrid country music. Not to mention the hilarity when all of those components come together.

As for British humor, I love love love "Keeping Up Appearances", Hyacinth Bouquet (spelled Bucket) is the epitome of, o hell who knows.............  I get great laughs from Fawlty Towers, every episode, and one of my top faves is still "Are You Being Served", with the most eccentric sales people known to mankind. I also used to love watching "The Two Ronnies".

OMG I love me some British humour. What the hell was that show my daughter used to watch. Two middle aged women that loved to drink. A blonde and a brunette and the brunette had a daughter.

And the cooking show, The Two Fat Ladies.....just a treasure.
