here is the kicker,
I am not in Germany, I wish, but I am not.

however why did I put it on my profile, like my facebook....etc,
Just because its the country I love & wish to die there if not , on the way there,

google Damascus, & see where its located in the ME, Then tell me if its exist on CM,

thishereboi thank you for the whishes

Getting out of Syria might be more challenging. Are the border crossings into Turkey or Jordan still open? If so I'd head there. Otherwise it may be best to get out of the city until the trouble there dies down.

DK since I"ve been posting on these boards, you and your fellow Zionists have consistently advocated and defended the very things that cause ashjor's plight.

You've got a damn nerve pretending to be interested in his situation when you have contributed to causing it. And continue to contribute to creating a lot more Palestinian refugees.

Sickening.

Did you have anything relevant to add to the thread or did you just have a real need to be a bitch today?

Technically speaking I do believe that only a few countries across the world ban their citizens from emigrating out of the country. I doubt even Syria is that bad? But getting a country to accept an emigrant is a complete different matter. Let´s face the fact that 2 billion people in this world lives on the breadline or below it (1 $ US a day). Opening up the borders for free emigrations would destroy even the richest countries economy over night with the flood of economic refugees.
Another thing is the employment situation. All European countries at the moment have massive unemployment problems. That certainly goes for Germany too. Everybody is seeing massive cuts in social security’s, like unemployment benefits, social pensions and all that kind of stuff. At the same time the jobs is disappearing at a tremendous rate, specially unskilled and semiskilled ones due to outsourcing. On the news yesterday there was a story which said that of the batch of schoolteachers finishing their studies there was only about 120 jobs for 2200 newly educated teachers. The tradesmen have a 5 – 10 % unemployment rate. My own union (electricians) say 7 %.
Add to that that specially refugees or emigrants, specially the Palestinians has been a disaster since we started given them refugee status. 60 % of Palestinian male refugees aged 18 – 30 has a criminal record for theft, violence or drugs (Source “The Danish bureau of statistics”). They have the highest cost in social security benefits closely followed by the Somalians.
Consider the fact that Muslims is now 6 % of the population in Denmark. But they account for 33 % for of our prison population.
Sad to say but we don´t need any more of them in to our society. They have cost enough as it goes and parliament is now talking about making laws that states that any foreigner who gets a criminal conviction can be administratively deported. It is about time.

No problem. Just don't forget to stop by Detroit if you come to the states. If nothing else it will make the rest of the country look better.

Sorry to hear the response at IOM & UNHCR wasn't encouraging.

Delighted to hear you aren't going to let it hold you back.

Good luck with it all. You'll get where you want to go sooner or later! [:D]

You could become an illegal immigrant and that because it appears in this world fortune favours the criminal mind, as can be seen by so many illegal immigrants being given amnesties and allowed to stay, whereas bona fide people who try to do anything in accordance with the proper process are given a hard time.

What skills do you have that can be of benefit to other countries economies, as some countries are a bit more lennient with the qualified immigrant.

But failing that, appeal to the special groups by stating trauma for things suffered, do you qualify elsewhere for refugee status ?

Yes, due to 1951 Gineva convetion & the Starting of the Un division UNRWA, which is specialised in Palestinian refugees in the ME,
- & I really hate to be an illegal immigrant, but i dont think I have no choice right now,

tweakabelle, I dont know this for sure, but I think there is no Australian Embassy here, Maybe in Istanbul.
also I have looked into it, & there is alot of pages to go through.

FR

Look Man, I can probably get you in to the US, but you need some kind of skill. You would be on an H1B visa, or if you're young enough, maybe a student visa, but that is not likely. What do you do ? What is your profession ?

T^T

ashjor911 -> RE: can palestinian refugees migrate? (6/29/2011 4:28:36 AM)
